About this photograph

One vertical macro photograph of a sage-green succulent with pink and burgundy details, printed on flat canvas. Supplied unstretched and unframed; frames and mats in room previews are not included.

Canvas border: Each print has a 1/8-inch white, unprinted canvas border on all four sides. This border is included within the selected print size, so the photograph itself is slightly smaller. Frames, mats and hanging hardware are not included.

Made to order: 2–3 business days before shipping. US delivery is usually by USPS Ground, estimated at 3–7 business days after dispatch. Standard US shipping is $8.99 for orders under $35 and free for orders of $35 or more after discounts.

Some plants look ordinary from a distance. This one doesn't.

Get close enough to a mature echeveria and you discover something unexpected — ruffled leaf edges that curl like lace, tiny offshoot rosettes spiraling from the center, and a color palette that shifts from deep burgundy at the base to cool sage-blue at the tips. This vertical macro photograph captures all of it in a single, unhurried frame.

Shot in natural Pacific Northwest light, this image reveals the kind of botanical detail that most people walk past without noticing. On canvas, it becomes a quiet focal point — the kind of art that rewards a second look.

Color & botanical detail

The dominant palette is cool sage-green and dusty blue-grey, with warm burgundy-red edging along the outer leaves and soft blush-pink tones in the inner rosettes. Three small offshoot buds are visible at the center, each tightly coiled and catching the natural light differently.

This is not a stylized or filtered image. The color variation is exactly as it appeared in nature.

Material & print quality

Printed on premium poly-cotton artist canvas with archival, fade-resistant inks. The textured surface adds depth and warmth, enhancing the natural tones of the botanical subject. Unlike glossy paper prints, canvas has a textured, matte appearance and provides a fine art finish suitable for any room.

Please note: minor color differences may occur between your screen and the printed canvas due to display calibration.

Framing & display

Delivered as a flat, unstretched canvas print (frame not included). The vertical format is ideal for:

  • Narrow walls, hallways, and entryways
  • Bathroom accent walls
  • Bedside or beside a window

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this a single print or a set? This is a single canvas print — one image, available in three sizes: 6×8, 9×12, and 12×16 inches. It is designed as a standalone botanical statement piece. If you are looking for a multi-print set, explore our full Spring Magic Photography Collection.

Q: What succulent species is this? The photograph depicts a rosette succulent consistent with the Echeveria genus — characterized by a tight, symmetrical spiral rosette of thick, spoon-shaped leaves with serrated and slightly ruffled edges. The crimson-red coloration at each leaf tip is a stress-response
coloration common in Echeveria when exposed to bright light or
temperature variation. Three small offset rosettes (offshoots from the parent plant) are visible at the center and sides of the main bloom. The warm burgundy plants visible at the edges are companion succulents photographed in the same natural setting.

Q: Will the colors look exactly as they do on screen? Color accuracy on canvas prints can vary depending on your screen's
brightness and color calibration. Screens tend to display colors more vibrantly than printed surfaces. The actual canvas print will have slightly softer, more matte tones than what appears on a backlit screen — which many buyers find even more appealing in a home setting. The sage-green, crimson, and warm burgundy palette is faithfully reproduced, though exact shade matching to your screen is not guaranteed.

Q: Is this print ready to hang? The print arrives unframed on flat canvas. It is compatible with standard portrait-format frames in sizes 6×8, 9×12, and 12×16, all widely available at home goods retailers. Canvas stretcher bars are also compatible. Many customers display smaller sizes on picture ledges or in tabletop frames.

Q: What size should I choose? 6×8 inches suits small accent walls, bathroom displays, bedside tables, shelving, and narrow spaces. 9×12 is a versatile mid-size that works in most rooms — strong enough to be noticed without dominating a wall. 12×16
makes a confident statement and is the right choice when the print will be the primary visual focus of a wall or room. See our Canvas Print Size Guide for detailed room guidance.

Q: What interior styles does this print suit? The sage-green, blue-green, crimson, and warm burgundy palette is unusually versatile. It suits Japandi, bohemian, cottagecore, minimalist, warm transitional, and eclectic interior styles. It pairs naturally with terracotta, warm white, blush, dusty rose, olive, dark walnut, and natural linen tones. Works especially well in bathrooms, reading rooms, home offices, bedrooms, and narrow accent wall spaces.

Q: Is this suitable for a bathroom? Yes. Poly-cotton canvas is more moisture-resistant than paper prints. We recommend avoiding direct water contact and ensuring adequate ventilation in the room.

Q: How do I clean my canvas print? Gently dust with a dry microfiber cloth. Do not use water, cleaning sprays, or abrasive materials on the canvas surface.

Q: Can this be purchased as a gift? Yes — a Gift Card lets someone choose their own size or style. Ships in clean, protective packaging well suited for gifting.

Color & display notes

Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished print due to monitor settings, room lighting, and the texture and finish of the printing material.

Room mockups are styling previews. Please refer to the selected size and product description for what is included.

Frames and mats shown in room mockups are not included.
