"A few years ago, on a rainy October day in beautiful Evergreen Washington State, I was on my way home from a trip when something breathtaking caught my eye. The pavement was wet and glistening from the rain, reflecting the most vivid colors I had ever seen. The fallen foliage was a masterpiece of nature—deep blue, fiery red, bright orange, soft pink, golden yellow, fresh green, and rich brown. I couldn’t believe how stunning it all looked, so I stopped and started capturing the moment through my lens, taking picture after picture.
When I got home, I kept thinking about those leaves and how fleeting their beauty was. I realized that these nature moments—ones that last only days or even hours—deserved to be preserved and shared. With the help of my daughter, a talented graphic designer, I began editing my photos, refining my skills, and discovering my passion for macro photography.
Since 2021, I have been traveling around Washington State, capturing nature’s hidden details—things we often pass by without noticing. Macro nature photography allows us to see the world in a way we normally wouldn’t, revealing the delicate textures, colors, and patterns that make nature so extraordinary.
This passion turned into The Virtue of God, a woman-owned business dedicated to bringing the beauty of the natural world into people’s homes. Each piece I create is a celebration of the fleeting moments that surround us—proof that God’s artistry is everywhere, waiting to be seen." - Martha Solo
