A note from the artist

What drew me to this scene was the unexpected tenderness of the color. Autumn is often associated with fiery reds and golds, yet here the season appeared in muted rose and blush tones, softened further by rain.

This close nature photograph celebrates the beauty found at ground level, where fallen leaves, water, color, and texture briefly come together before the season changes again.

Why this photograph on canvas

Canvas gives the image a true work-of-art surface and depth. We print the photograph in-house on Red River canvas using archival Epson inks. The flat canvas lets you choose a frame that suits your room.

Colors and styling

Pair muted rose and blush with warm ivory, linen and pale oak in a bedroom. For a home office, try slate-blue walls, walnut furniture and a sage chair. Place the print above a dresser or desk, allowing space around the frame. Check the selected size against your furniture before choosing a position.
