A note from the artist

I couldn’t walk past these pumpkins when I saw them displayed for sale during the autumn festivities here in Washington State. Their colors were too wonderful to miss: familiar orange alongside unexpected blue-green, soft pink and cream. Up close, each pumpkin had its own character—deep ridges, bumpy surfaces, curved stems and irregular patches of color. I brought these three photographs together to share that abundance of detail, and the pleasure of finding something extraordinary in a seasonal display. — Martha Solo— Martha Solo

Why these photographs on canvas

Canvas gives the image a true work-of-art surface and depth. Its textured matte finish adds a tactile quality to these close-up photographs of autumn pumpkins.

I print each order on fine art canvas sourced from Red River Paper, using an Epson SureColor P900 printer with genuine UltraChrome PRO10 pigment inks. No additional coating is applied after printing.

Colors & styling

Orange, coral pink, blue-green and cream bring a varied autumn palette to a dining room, entryway or living room. Natural wood and linen complement the earthy colors; thin black frames give the photographs a defined edge.
