A note from the artist

My photographs bring the textures of pumpkins and gourds into close view. In one image, a deep-green curved gourd crosses a cluster of yellow and cream forms. In the other, orange stripes and dark stems stand out against pale pumpkins. Together, the two photographs tell an autumn story through the shapes and patterns of the harvest.

Why this photograph on canvas

Canvas gives the image a true work-of-art surface and depth. These photographs are printed to order on Red River canvas with archival Epson inks. The woven surface complements the gourds’ textured skins while the flat format lets you choose your own frames.

Colors and styling

Golden yellow and orange give the pair warmth; cream and deep green add contrast. Hang the photographs together above a dining buffet or beside a kitchen breakfast nook, or display them on separate walls around the dining area. Sizes and framing

Choose 7 × 12, 9 × 16 or 13 × 23 inches for each of the two prints. These are the finished outer dimensions. A 1/8-inch unprinted border on every side is included within the selected size, so the photographic image is slightly smaller.
